Sacramento Raceway

Kylee loves dirt.
This is Bailey, Kylees twin!

My parents friends rented the race track for a day in Sacramento for a work party thing and invited us. It was kind of a guy thing so Kristen and I left and went shopping. We searched for a mall in my navigator thingy and when we got to the destination it was gone...It had been torn down! Lame-o. So then we found another one and drove the half an hour there only to find it was the starting point for the Race for the Cure....lines were out the door. We didnt stay too long. I decided to get brave and ride a little 50....and was doing really good until I got on the actual track and crashed. Our family doesn't have the best of luck. Last summer by brother in law crashed his dirt bike in St. George and broke his hip. And just a few weeks ago my father in law crashed Davids dirt bike doing a wheelie...(Hes SIXTY!) and cracked his head open and broke his nose. Needless to say, I'll be sticking to four wheels from now on.

Go A's!

The company David works for has season tickets to the Oakland A's so we went to last weeks game. It was so fun! We drove to Pleasanton and then took Bart into Oakland. We dressed up and everything. We looked like real fans, even though the last A's game I went to was like 4 years ago when Barry Zito was still there. We had such a fun night with our little family and my sister Kristen and her boyfriend Garrett and Davids brothers Scotty and Brock. Kylee thought it was so great, she could be as loud as she wanted and yell as much as she wanted too. The camera men loved her and she was on the big screen 3 different times. We have tickets to the A's vs Giants game in June so be sure to watch for our famous litte A's fan.

I LOVE nice people!

I went yesterday to get Ky's pictures taken and this lady is there with her daughter who looks like shes about 3. The lady walks out of the store and then backs up and asks if I want these SUPER cute orange saltwater sandals that her daughter just grew out of. So nice!! They are almost brand new! Im so excited because those dang shoes are 30 bucks so I only buy a pair of white ones every season for Ky and now I have a pair of orange ones too. So I love nice people.

Gross Weekend!!

Well, no pictures to post. (You wouldn't want to see them if there were any) We had a yucky weekend. Kylee was sick literally barfing all night long. Like nothing Ive seen before. All over the place. Then David got sick, then I got sick. At least it only lasted a day and a half. Then when I was sick and David was at work, I put Kylee down for a nap only to have her screaming her head off 20 minutes later. I go in her room and shes saying "eeeew sick" over and over. Shes totally naked and has poop ALL over. She had taken off all of her clothes and her diaper and shes standing on one foot trying to flick poop off of the other one because its stuck to the bottom of her foot. So Im gagging cleaning all this crap up everywhere, and I mean its everywhere. And shes saying sick sick sick the whole time. I changed Kylees sheets 3 times in 3 days. SO GROSS!!!!!

Happy Easter!

We had such a good Easter! We started off the weekend by going to Pismo Beach with my family. It was really windy but still really fun. We met some of my parents friends down there and camped with them. Im notsomuch of a great camper, so Im extremely glad David talked me into getting a toy hauler. No porta potties for me!! My parents have a motorhome, so its definitly my kind of camping. Kylee had a blast digging in the sand after she got used to the feel of it. Luke LOVED IT. He dug huge holes and sat in them and was just so happy being a boy. I even borrowed Kristens quad and went on a ride with David. Usually I just sit around camp or go into town, but this time I was brave and went riding. So we left Saturday night so we could go to Davids parents house for Easter. We didnt get home til like 2 in the morning eck! We had a really nice dinner at their house and Kylees twirled around for everyone in her dress. Shes such a girl, its ridiculous.

Fancy Nancy

Kylee is our very own Fancy Nancy. She loves all things sparkly, shiny, fluffy and pretty. She might get that from her momma, but Im not so sure. She lets me do her hair and sits still even for the curling iron. (We've only tried that a handful of times though) In case you haven't read the book "Fancy Nancy" We think you should. :) Its this really cute book about a little girl who makes everything fancy. She tries to get her family to be fancy and uses fancy words. Its one of Ky's favorites. So these are some of my favorite pictures of Ky.

Valentines Day!

I love LOVE love Valentines Day. I dont love it for the candy or dumb teddy bears. I just love it because its a day to remind us just how much in love we really are. (I guess if I was single...I wouldnt think that....It would be more like Single Awareness Day) I read an article in Womens Day about saying I love you and this ladys take on it was that its overused today and that valetines day is lame, basically. I wanted to write a letter to the editor, but I guarentee someone already did and I can read about it next month. David has always been a hero when it comes to Valentines. We dont make a huge deal or anything, but it is just nice to be remembered. Since everyone and their mother go to dinner we decided not to, and went to the temple instead. It was so nice!! We decided to make this a tradition. We just did sealings and ate in the cafeteria and it was one of the best dates we've had in awhile. The cafeteria was pretty good too! They had prime rib! We were able to seal Davids mom's sister to her parents and Davids grandpa to his parents. Anyways. It was a beauitful night and we did take some pictures but our camera was dead...but I did have one of those windup ones, so I'll have to get them developed. Of course Kylee had a cute Valentine outfit and matching bow... :) Thats one of my favorite parts about Holidays...dressing Ky up!
